The reason I stopped selling Beachbody

If you have followed me at all in the last year or so you know I have been a HUGE Beachbody advocate and coach. I LIVED  Beachbody for an entire year and came out a better person at the end of it not only physically but emotionally as well. Unfortunately after getting my personal training certification I have come to realize a few flaws in being a Beachbody coach.

Have you ever learned something and then want to unlearn it because it would make your life easier just not knowing? That is pretty much what happened to me. I learned the “rights” and “wrongs” of exercise and could not look at beachbody programs the same. I can’t just sell you a dvd and tell you “you are going to drop 10 pounds in a month” because that program may do more harm then good in your body depending on SO many other factors.

Stress. Diet. MUSCLE COMPENSATIONS. Job. Lifestyle. Medical history…. the list goes on. I can’t JUST be the person that sells to you. I want to be the one that guides you, lifts you and makes you feel good not just sore.

Also, I can’t do MLM. Multi-level marketing. Let me rephrase that. I CAN but I choose not to anymore. I was waking up at 4:00am and doing EVERYTHING the top coaches did to be successful and I just didn’t like it. It was so much work to obtain clients and the amount of effort I put in was not worth the small percentage that you make being a coach. I am not trying to hate on beachbody AT ALL, I think they are a really great company but it is just not for me anymore. I am thankful for the experience and do not look at myself as a quitter, I just have bigger dreams now and beachbody has helped guide me to them.

I have started my personal training journey, hoping to have more one-on-one time with clients, create amazing workout and be a huge support system for prenatal/postnatal moms!

P.S. My entire family still drinks Shakeology. We have found it has made a huge difference in our immune system, digestive system and overall weight management so until we find something better I will continue drinking it and praising it.

Thank you for all the support and love everyone has given me this past year!
